Version 3.2
I hope you can help?
Is there a fix for this please? -max bid price will not update. It just displays the intial bid price despite data of current bids being there, for example it will not let any bids at current bid price to be made.

eg: the bid price shows initial 1.00 GBP but there is another bid of 2.00GBP which the software is aware of but will not display

I would be very grateful for any help whatsoever as it "seems" to be working apart from this
The software was provided by my host, justhost and installed by Fantastico
Is it something to do with item.PHP? or some line of simply editable script.  (3.2 is only available via my host using fantastico and i am not clever enough to install 3.3 myself ) Embarrassed
Thank you
Regards
David

I have actually managed to install 3.3 manually and it's up and running with admin panal I have chmod 777 all the suggested PHP files as the installation guide suggests  as well, However it still has the same problem in that the bid price will not update. Is this a disabled feature to prevent people from using this software for real so they will purchase a more expensive version?

I am seeing the same problem in v 3.3 as hopeful. If a bid of $1 is showing, for example, and a new bid of $3 (say) is entered, the bid showing on the page remains at $1. The software has recorded the new bid as it will refuse a bid from the same user for, say, $2, telling you that you are already the leading bidder.

As it is, this makes the software unusable. I was hoping to use this gpl version as a trial before committing to buying the commercial product.
